On September 10, 1993, Alfred Steffen photographed Lemmy Kilmister at the Hotel Reichshof in Hamburg, away from the stage and without any form of staging.
The black-and-white portrait shows Lemmy in a state of calm concentration. The gaze is direct, controlled, and restrained. Characteristic features are present, yet they do not dominate the image. At its center is a reduced, clear presence—beyond pose or rock ’n’ roll gesture.
The work is released as a strictly limited fine art edition, published on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Lemmy Kilmister’s death. Once the edition is complete, no reprint will be made.
Certification & Shipping
All prints are numbered and signed and are delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The certificate and the signature label are shipped separately — to prevent transport damage and to allow maximum flexibility for framing and mounting.
This practice follows international fine-art standards and secures the long-term value preservation of the edition.
Shipping & Handling
Worldwide shipping.
Unframed prints are shipped flat or in specialized packaging.
Framed works are delivered ready to hang.
