Statutory Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

If an order is delivered in several separate shipments, the withdrawal period begins when you or the designated third party receives the final shipment.

Exercising Your Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email).

You may use the model withdrawal form provided below, but its use is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the standard delivery method offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Packaging for Returns

Where possible, please use the original packaging and suitable protective materials to prevent damage during return shipping.

However, using the original packaging is not a requirement for the valid exercise of your right of withdrawal.

Separate Shipments (Artwork, Signature, Certificate)

For security reasons, some orders are shipped in separate packages:

The artwork (framed or unframed).
The signature and Certificate of Authenticity.

The right of withdrawal always applies to the complete artwork, including all associated components.

In the event of withdrawal, the artwork, any accompanying frame, the signature, and the Certificate of Authenticity must therefore be returned in full.

Signatures or Certificates of Authenticity that have already been delivered must not be altered, damaged, marked, or destroyed.

They must be returned together with the other components of the artwork.

Notice Regarding Custom-Made Products (Fine Art Prints)

Some of our regular editions and Fine Art Prints are produced only after an order has been placed.

However, the fact that an artwork is produced after an order is placed does not, in itself, exclude the statutory right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal may be excluded in particular for goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized to meet the customer’s individual needs (Section 312g(2)(1) of the German Civil Code – BGB).
